"Sudan is not really a country at all, but many.
A composite layers, like a genetic fingerprint of memories that were once fluid, but have since crystallized out from the crucible of possibility"

Happy Birthday Sudan
1/1/2008- Sudan turns 52.
We should also celebrate the fact that since 1956, Sudan was at peace for about 11 years!
Daaana, yes approx kida because 1st civil war 1955-1972 then from 1983 to 2007 we never had peace ( south/north finished but we still have darfur) we were never 100% at peace except in the 1970's
