Note

Please don't hate me for this.
I know I'm optimistic all the time but after reading more reports, listening the the rants of aid workers and seeing more pictures of Darfur, tears are long gone. Just like aid workers, I learned to harden my heart and it's not a bad thing if you ask me. It's for my own good, for your own good too. If I got teartful and my heart softened over every thing I saw or heard, I will not have time to breath.

If you want to know more about a place where the humanity of many individuals froze, then keep checking this post.
I will be posting about Darfur in the next few days.

Kizzie..

Harden you heart n give room for your wonderful soul to breath... and live...

Darfur needs all the coverage it can get. Did you see the documentary El Bashir stop from airing? It's called Jihad on Horseback, by al Arabiya...

kizzie...I hate that I always come late and find out that u posted quite a few posts. Darfur is a really painful topic for me as well. I hate that neither one of the two sudanese sides involved talks about the people. The rebels constantly talk about having a shrae in the national resources and being part of the government, and the government talks about the same thing. I am crying too

oh one more thing...for the first time i try to look at the complete tribe list u have and I found mine...al lahawyeen (lahawin) but when i clicked on it I found inaccurate info about us (i.e. we lead nomadic lifestyle). many people in sudan do not know anything about us, and i guess that has reflected on the short inaccurate discription on wikipedia lol.

Dana,
why dont u say a few things about your tribe and I will write it on wikipedia. once i was reading one of their inaccurate info's about sudan and i got so mad , I decided to create an account and post things every now and then.
I will correct it lakeen just tell me where they originated from, where they live now etc...
You know what, it's always like that. A group first forms for the people by the people. To help out their own people and provide needs for them. Then...they get greedy when they see the money. The sudanese government loves bribing and if u get greedy, your cause wont matter at all.
